WHAT IS ABVA? The Alberta Buddhist (Vihara) Association (ABVA) (registered in Alberta) is based on the Theravada Tradition of Buddhism. The Association has existed for nearly 20 years, and is made up primarily of Buddhists of Sri Lankan Origin. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Buddhism. Membership dues and donations fund ABVA activities. Membership fee is $25 per year. The suggested tax-deductible donation is $240/year. more .....
