Temporary Suspension of Public Programs

Considering the health and safety of our community in the context of the present COVID-19 global pandemic, all public programs of the AIM Centre has been canceled effective immediately and until further notice. We are committed to supporting your spiritual practice and provide guidance remotely for those who are in need.


The Alberta Insight Meditation Centre (AIM centre) strives to enhance the unity, harmony, and peace in society based on the original teachings of the Buddha. It inculcates positive moral values among people and assist them to live a successful and meaningful life.

The AIM centre offers different types of spiritual programs including mindfulness and meditation retreats, discussions, workshops, cultural events, family programs, individual counseling, individual meditation guidance, and Buddhism classes. These programs are offered to everyone in the society irrespective of one's ethnicity, gender, and social class, and age.

Our regular programs are open to all continuing practitioners. We offer meditation sessions, discussions, dhamma classes, short and long term retreats etc.

Children and youth are the biggest gift for parents. We offer dhamma classes, volunteer opportunities, and indoor/outdoor fun activities to cherish their lives.

We welcome everyone who seeks a peaceful life with true happiness. We guide you to understand and overcome stress, anxiety, loneliness etc. using Buddhist principles.
